Senior Pictures in Colorado Springs
Gracie’s Senior Pictures were at a beautiful and unique location near Colorado Springs. It was a perfect-weather day in August, with beautiful natural light. Complete with colorful rocks – whites, yellows, purples, and pinks – along with tall grasses and wildflowers, we had various backdrops to choose between, that would help her photos stand out. Her family came along for the photoshoot, and I enlisted their help behind camera to get natural smiles from Gracie.
It was fun exploring the rock formations, and thankfully Gracie was willing to climb a bit with me to explore some of the more challenging to reach places.
Her dad mentioned that the location felt like it was straight out of what you might find on a planet in the Star Wars universe.
I can’t wait to go back here for another senior session!
On my way to our planned location, I noticed some beautiful sunflowers along the side of the road. I asked Gracie and her family if they would be willing to go there to get some additional photos on the way back to the Springs, and thankfully they were just as excited about it as I was. Our biggest surprise while taking these photos, was the deer that we scared out of it’s resting place while we were walking towards the flowers. I was also excited to capture Gracie with some of her favorite books that I had her bring, to help include one of her interests in her senior session. All-in-all it was a great session and the photos turned out beautifully!
