The recent and seemingly unending wind has been a nightmare for Colorado Springs photographers – except for those rare moments when it works in their favor, giving one’s clients that supermodel-hair effect. Thankfully for me, the wind decided it needed a break during Andrea and Ryan’s maternity session. Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off 2021
September 4th, 5th, and 6th marked the 45th annual Labor Day Lift Off event in Colorado Springs. This fun experience is one of my own family’s favorite traditions. I grew up going to the balloon festival at Chatfield State Park in Littleton, CO, which sadly had its last year in 2008, so I was ecstatic to be able to start the tradition of a balloon festival once again when I moved to the Springs. Colorado Springs is an absolutely beautiful place to have Senior, Engagement, and Family Photos taken. I’ll often see people inquiring in Facebook groups, as to what the “best places for a photo shoot in Colorado Springs” are.
