This session is one of my favorite senior photo sessions that I have done. With two different days of shooting, unlimited outfit changes, and being a gorgeous model, Danielle had a lot of beautiful images for graduation announcements, the yearbook, and of course, instagram 🙂
I was particularly excited for this session, and feeling rather old, because I used to babysit Danielle and her older sister. In fact, Danielle is the first baby I can ever remember holding! I used to create elaborate backdrops and props for impromptu photoshoots while I babysat them, that I would then gift their mom for her birthdays and Christmases. I was so honored to take her sister’s senior photos 2 years before these as well. It felt so surreal to go from photographing them at only a few years old to then taking their SENIOR PHOTOS!Â
For her first day of shooting, Danielle drove down to the Springs, and we went to a variety of locations, some very sporadic that we spotted as we drove and hopped out for a few photos before heading to the next location.
I think my favorite images that day were the ones we got in downtown Colorado Springs. Just walking around you can find lots of colorful and unique spots for portrait photos:
The photo above of Danielle in the sunglasses, was featured in the Summerana Photography Society Group, to its over 50 thousand members, as well as on Senior Szn Magazine and Senior Muse on Instagram!

For her second day of shooting, Danielle drove to the Springs with her best friend for a double senior photo session. They had a blast together and we went to a few parks and Garden of the Gods for some nature shots to add some diversity to Danielle’s previous urban shoot.
If you are looking for bright and beautiful senior images, I’d love to chat with you about planning a fun and memorable senior photo session!Â
